How is the auction organized?

The majority of our auctions take place online, allowing you to participate via our website or app. Additionally, we also organize live auctions, and the schedule and venue for these events will be regularly updated on our website once an auction is confirmed.

What happens if I win the bid but fail to complete the payment?

Engaging in this action goes against the agreed-upon Terms and Conditions you accepted during registration. Failure to fulfill the payment will result in your security deposit being held, and participation in bids will be restricted until the outstanding amount is settled. Furthermore, we retain the right to pursue legal measures if necessary.

Is there a minimum age to participate in the auction?

To take part in any of our auctions, individuals must be at least 18 years old or older as per the legal age requirement.

How can I delete my account?

Should you decide not to retain your account, you have the option to delete it through several means. You may contact our Customer Service via phone at +973 1777 8887 or email us at [email protected]. Alternatively, you can utilize the app, access your account settings, and select the "delete my account" option to proceed with the deletion.

What is direct sale?

Direct sale allows you to buy the number immediately without participating in an auction

When the ownership certificate will be issued?

After confirm the payment and ownership owner details, the ownership card will be ready within 5 working days and Mazad customer service shall notify you by Email and SMS.

What is a security deposit?

To take part in the auction, you must first secure a specific amount in your account. This amount serves as a refundable deposit, which means you can request a refund at any time, except when you have outstanding dues that need to be cleared. The maximum bidding amount you can place in the auction depends on the security deposit you have in your account. Having a higher deposit enhances your chances of winning as it allows you to place more substantial bids.

How much is the security deposit?

For all auctions except Properties & Industrial:

You have the option to pay the deposit using bank transfer, cheque, or credit card. The required security deposit is 20% of your desired bidding limit. For example, if you intend to set a bidding limit of BHD 100,000, your security deposit should be at least BHD 20,000.

For Properties & Industrial Auctions:

To participate in Properties & Industrial Auctions, you can submit the deposit via a manager's cheque or bank transfer. The security deposit amount is equivalent to 10% of the property price. For instance, if the property price is BHD 1,000,000, your "Manager Cheque" or bank transfer amount should be BHD 100,000.

If you choose to make your deposit through bank transfer or bank deposit, you can start bidding once the transfer is successfully reflected in your account.

What should I do after paying the security deposit to be able to start bidding?

If you make the security deposit online using a credit card, it will be promptly reflected in your auction account, enabling you to bid immediately, provided the transaction is authorized by Mastercard/Visa. During this process, please ensure not to close the payment page until the transaction is successfully completed.

In the case of a security deposit made by cheque, you can start bidding after submitting the cheque to the Mazad office.

For deposits made through bank transfer or bank deposit, kindly furnish the proof of transfer when making the payment request through our website or mobile app.

You have the option to send us the deposit receipt by either uploading it on our website or mobile application or sending it via email to [email protected].

What are the payment method options for the security deposit?

  1. Online Credit Card Payment: If you paid the Security Deposit using a credit card, it should reflect in your auction account. You can immediately start bidding, subject to the authorization of the transaction by Mastercard/Visa. Please ensure not to close the payment page until the transaction is successfully completed.

  2. Cheque Payment: If you paid the Security Deposit by cheque, submit the cheque to the Mazad office. Once the cheque is processed, you will be eligible to start bidding.

  3. Bank Transfer or Bank Deposit: If you made the Security Deposit through bank transfer or bank deposit, provide proof of the transfer when making the payment request through the website or mobile app. Once the payment is verified, you will be able to commence bidding.

Remember, different payment methods may have varying processing times, so it's essential to follow the instructions provided by Mazad to ensure a smooth bidding experience.

I am currently outside Bahrain, How can I pay the security deposit?

To pay the security deposit, you have the flexibility to choose from the following methods:

  1. Credit Card: You can make the payment using your credit card through our website or mobile application.

  2. Bank Transfer: Alternatively, you can opt for a bank transfer and send the deposit to our designated bank account.

Both options are available for your convenience, so you can select the method that suits you best.

Applicants can visit this location to submit their security deposit as per the specified guidelines.

Is the deposit refundable?

Yes, the security deposit is entirely 100% refundable if there are no outstanding balances with Mazad.

However, it is essential to note that if the security deposit is paid through a non-BHD Debit/Credit Card or Bank Transfer (local or international), the amount received by Mazad will be refunded back to the customer in BHD.

Mazad will not be held responsible for any exchange loss or charges incurred by the customer during the refund process. Therefore, customers should be mindful of potential currency conversion fees that may apply when initiating the refund.

Can I get my deposit back in cash?

We do not offer cash refunds. Instead, refunds will be issued via cheque or bank transfer, made payable under the registered name.

In case I won a an item, can I use my security deposit as payment?

Yes, your security deposit can be utilized for completing your purcahse.

What should I do if my security deposit is not reflecting in my account?

If you do not see the security deposit reflected in your account, kindly send us the transaction details or transfer slip via email from your registered email address to [email protected] or use the chat function on our website or mobile app.
